Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using CarLocker, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. Subscription terms

CarLocker is a subscription service charged at £2.49 per month per vehicle. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis.

  • You may add or remove vehicles from your account at any time. Adding a vehicle begins a new monthly billing cycle for that vehicle.
  • All fees are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable.
  • We use a third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to their terms as well as ours.

3. Cancellation policy

You may cancel your subscription for any vehicle at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to that vehicle's data until the period ends, after which the data will no longer be accessible.

Deleting your CarLocker account will cancel all active subscriptions immediately. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of all data you enter, including vehicle details, service records, dates, costs, and mileage.
  • Obtaining consent from any third party before transferring their data or vehicle history to another user.

5. Disclaimer and liability

CarLocker provides a digital record-keeping service. We are not liable for the accuracy of records entered by users. A buyer or third party should independently verify any vehicle history before relying on it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarLocker's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to CarLocker in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

6. Changes to the service and terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use of CarLocker after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
